In my creative life, I am a songwriter, singer, entertainer and have been for many years. It has always challenged me to record and produce my original music. Hearing these songs in my head is one thing… relaying that to another creative (albeit a musician, copyist, co-writer) while possessing minimal skills as a musician, is totally another.
Then AI came into the picture. Whoo-hoo! It was a bit scary how much my AI program “got me”! I entered my lyrics, the mood, the genre, sang a melody line —- then pushed the button, closed my eyes and crossed my fingers. AI gave me three options right out the gate. The one posted on this site is what I thought most closely captured my idea. It was exciting to say the least! I worked this AI version around to my liking in another program and there it was, completed. I loved it!
If you know of a creative person, you also know the creativity never ends. It can continue cycling to a point of exhaustion! Which brings me to my next challenge, a visual fantasy to go with this new creation. I searched the web and found another AI program to create my video. I uploaded a few headshots of me to add my likeness. Then, to my dismay, I discovered the video app only offers 1min. of footage. My song is 3 ½ min long! So, I ran four videos, getting some visual variety and enough reel to fill the 3 ½ min. Next step, I threw all four reels into IMovie, sliced it and diced it, working it like a puzzle. The above music video is my final product.
This is my very first attempt at producing a music video. It was such a fun, creative experience. I am excited to share it with you. I hope you enjoy it!
